Hard hitting honesty in a sea of musical mediocrity is the only way to describe Brisbane's newest heavy hitters, Hotel 44. Playing countless shows Australia wide and rumbling stages for in excess of 7yrs Hotel 44 has utilized this time to there advantage playing with some of the biggest names within the Australian industry, forever learning as they went.
Hotel 44 have stepped up in every way possible and have been working tirelessly in order to establish a work ethic and sound directly spawned from the quotation "kicken-arse & taken names". With the new line up feeling as solid a good old desert rock, Marcus, Balak, Damo & Morgan are figuratively biting the musical world "off at the knees" with there original blend of homeland inspired brutality. While the sellout Ep "7th Cycle" did great things for the band early on (with the old line up), it has however been a substantial amount of time since the boys had offered anything new for there listeners to sink there patiently waiting oversize fangs into. Thankfully this is no longer the case and Hotel 44 fans the world over will be excited to learn that over the past 12 months the 44 team have been in the studio laying face smelters in order to bring you there lived in debut album "Stories", which will be available from all decent law abiding musical retailers or else.
